When getting your home ready to sell, there are lot a lot of steps to take to “stage” your home. But, really, what does all of that mean? What are you trying to accomplish?
Staging a home is really making a home appeal to more buyers. A buyer with kids will have different things they are looking for vs. a buyer with no kids or A buyer who enjoys an evening at home watching movies vs. a buyer who enjoys entertaining lots of people at their home.
To accomplish this, try and look at your home as if you were someone else. Someone who is the opposite type of person you are. How would they see your home? What things could you do to appeal to them?
