The community offers a variety of recreational opportunities including the great city parks, the picturesque Loess Hills, the Gramm Conservation Area and Lewis & Clark State Park.
The City of Onawa is a full service community. In addition to the Administration and Public Works departments Onawa also manages the Utilities and Law Enforcement for the community.
