CENTURY 21 ProLink is a rapidly growing, team oriented real estate brokerage seeking a Closing Coordinator / Bookkeeper. As our Bookkeeper, you are responsible for Quickbooks for our company. In addition, you are the Closing Coordinator who is responsible to ensure our RELENTLESS agents transactions go smoothly after the deal is closed. In a nutshell, if you possess the deep down desire to help others while being a watchdog of the money, let’s talk.
A day in the life:
- Review upcoming closings and ensure they are ready for closing day.
- Receive closing documents and pay out agents in a timely manner.
- Enter data into Agent Sales Records and audit monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure trust ledgers are accurate and bank deposits are made on time.
- Oversee CENTURY 21 ProLink programs related to the closing process.
- Review AP / AR to ensure vendors are paid on time.
- Reconcile checking accounts and create monthly reports.
What you need to be good at:
- Details. You have to be hyper-attentive-to-detail as you are the final set of eyes on the transaction.
- Trustworthy. Reliable, responsible and open to asking questions to find the answer.
- You’ll need past experience working with computers, telephone, copy machine, scanner.
- You can answer the phone, respond to email, and have a face-to-face conversation at the same time, all while staying cool as a cucumber.
- You have to have a passion for numbers, auditing and bookkeeping.
- Work well with a diverse team.
- It would be great if you spoke a second language. Or third. But this isn’t required.
- We prefer Iowa’s National Career Readiness Certificate.
When we need you:
Office location is 1114 4th Street, Sioux City, IA 51101. Regularly scheduled 40 hour work-week shall consist of hours Monday through Friday. Staff Meetings are Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. each week.
