Friends In Need Program Facing Increasing Demand at The Gospel Mission

This past week…  We had 217 people in attendance at our Sept 21^st “Friends in Need” chapel service.  The service is held once a month throughout the school year, specifically for those families receiving assistance from our Food Pantry.  At the conclusion of Wednesday’s service, we distributed packages of whole chickens and (2) 1-gallon jugs of ice-tea to each of them.  In addition, they each received a $10 voucher to use at our Thrift Store, which many redeemed shortly thereafter.
