Because Sioux City is located at the borders of three states, many agents have real estate licenses in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. CENTURY 21 ProLink strongly recommends that agents pursue a license in all three states. If you are an Iowa resident and have your active Iowa license you may receive reciprocal licenses in both South Dakota and Nebraska by submitting the appropriate applications and fees.

Where do I do my State of Iowa Background check to get my realator license?
Hi Robert, You would need to create an account on the Iowa Real Estate Commission website. There you can apply for the background check. https://dial.iowa.gov/about-dial/boards/real-estate
Good afternoon, I am a junior in high school and am interested in becoming a real estate agent when i graduate in 2026. I was interested about your programs and maybe if I could get more information on if I was able to do anything in the months coming or next year to help me get into real estate down the road before I graduate. I will be 18 in February of 2026 as well if that is a must but I’d love to hear back or some tips to hear about my future plans.
Hi Alejandra, Thank you for reaching out? Do you live in IA, NE or SD? Those are the states we are licensed in.
