Question:
How long does the seller have to respond to my offer?
Answer:
When we write an offer, we put an expiration date and time on the offer itself. If the offer has not been accepted, countered, or rejected at the time of expiration, you (the buyer), have the chance to make an offer on another property of your choice. Sometimes, a seller may not have had a chance to review the offer before the time of expiration, but may accept after the time limit is up. However, if it is accepted after the expiration time, you are not obligated to continue with the offer and may make an offer on another home.
