This has been a big week for the Food Bank of Siouxland. They had to purchase a truckload of food for the first time in several years – a step they needed to take to bring food levels back up on the floor of the warehouse. With demand far outpacing supply, they simply were sending out more than they have been bringing in!
Today, reviewing the list of items available, I see a few things we’d love to encourage our friends to consider donating to us:
- Cereal
- Canned fruit cocktail
- Fruit juices (100% juice, please!)
- Spaghetti
