When you are negotiating the offer with the seller remember that you may need a “little room to move” further along in escrow. Sometimes a buyer insists on writing every last penny out of the sellers when negotiating the purchase agreement. This can sometimes cause the seller to be much less likely to compromise during inspections, for instance, if they feel like they have previously given everything up. Buyers can sometimes build up some emotional “capital” for use later one.
