Hello friend, I’m Amber Raak (sounds like Rock). 9 years ago I answered a job posting for an Abstract and Title company, I was hired and I loved it. Part of my job was gathering information about houses…and that’s what got me…the houses. A little over two years later, I was a licensed real estate agent and started selling houses in the Carroll, Iowa area. And let me tell you, the houses in Carroll did not disappoint. A year ago, my husband’s job moved us to the Siouxland area and for a time I worked for a busy agent. Now, for the love of houses and the people who will call them home, I’m going sell again.
When I’m not drowning in laundry, dishes and snuggles from our three small children, I like to work on our house, a mid 90s ranch. With an endless love of mid century furniture and art with a story, you can often find me sneaking away to a local thrift shop in hopes of finding my next “piece”.
The pride of ownership I take in the houses I’ve owned is the same pride I have in my business, with attention to detail I will walk you through the buying and selling process using my experience as an abstractor, agent and owner to guide me.
My favorite part of real estate is the houses; small, big and in between…I get excited about them all.
